Industrial Design Contest.

The Faraone company, an industrial concern of excellence and international relevance, has always believed in the power of innovation and creativity and is proud to present the ArtinFaraone project. The aim is to develop and increase trends on products that open new ways to showcase the talent of young artists. In collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila, we have undertaken a unique path of innovation and product research that takes the form of a Contest, involving artists and students of the senior classes of Graphic Arts and Design, named “The Art of Generating Art”.

The project, born from the synergy between Artintype, the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila and the Faraone Transparent Architectures company, involved 9 artists and students of the senior classes of “Graphic Arts and Design” in a challenge to reinterpret the leading products of the Faraone company through their artistic contribution, with the aim of giving added value through their artwork to a range of products already of the highest level for design and elegance, in order to enhance the functionality of the product by means of the artistic sign.

A unique innovation path and product research that lasted for months, during which the students met with the Faraone team, devoting themselves to the research, development and study of printing materials and techniques for the making of glass works.

All the expectations set out in this path born of the ambition to successfully combine Design and Art, Industry and University, Work and Training have been largely met.
